The vision was to create a country house within a farm-like setting, complete with barns, animals, maple syrup production, and space for family gatherings. The result is a large and meandering structure spreading its four wings across a rock ledge on the crest of a hill.
The private and guest quarters of the house converge in a multi-story lodge room featuring massive stone chimneys, tree-like columns, and commanding beams that bask in ever-changing sunlight.
